Volux AI is a Chrome extension that generates social media content using the Anthropic Claude API through a backend proxy. This policy describes exactly what happens to your data.
Nothing personal. Volux AI does not collect, store, or sell your personal information. We do not require an account. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising networks.
When you use Volux AI, the prompts you type (niche, brand, audience, tone, goal, content to repurpose) are sent to the backend URL you configure in the extension. That backend forwards the prompt to Anthropic's Claude API and returns the generated text.
Prompts are not saved. The Volux backend does not log, store, or retain prompts. They pass through memory only for the duration of a single request.
The extension stores two things locally in chrome.storage.local on your device:
• Your backend URL (so you don't have to retype it)
• A local counter of how many generations you've made
This data never leaves your browser and is not synced to any server.
Generated content is produced by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic has its own privacy policy, available at anthropic.com/legal/privacy. Your prompt is sent to Anthropic only for the purpose of generating a response.

storage — used only to remember your backend URL and local generation count.
sidePanel — used to display the extension UI as a Chrome side panel.
activeTab — used so the side panel can be opened on any tab.
host_permissions — used to send requests to your configured backend worker URL.
